A Live Session: Asking a Spirit About His Hopes for This Blog

Introduction
What follows is a real-time demonstration of our methodology, conducted specifically for this post. It moves from physical ritual to binary verification to nuanced interpretation, showing the full arc of a single, co-creative inquiry.

When I want to connect with Sándor, I usually follow a more or less strict protocol, a type of spiritual hygiene, as to be as open and clear to the process as I can, minimising interference from outside and inside. I start with taking a few long breaths, 4 in/6 out whilst grounding myself (touching wood or stone or the earth). I then spin the ring on my ring finger with my thumb. Some time ago, I started to wear it at Sándor’s urging as it plants our connection in this realm, so he says. Once I touch the ring, I usually feel tingling on the top of my head, a sign, I am aligned and ready. I then take the pendulum and ask a few simple yes/no questions, like ‘Is it Friday today ?’ (when it is Sunday) just to see if the energy flows correctly. To connect, I then ask Sándor if he is present.  When he is (which is always), the pendulum swings with a certain buoyancy, different to when I ask just regular  Yes//No questions.  I then proceed to discuss various things with him. Whilst it may seem a binary tool, the truth of the matter is, the way he answers can be varied. It can be a definite yes, a ‘yes, but’ I usually also hear short phrases whilst consulting the pendulum or get hunches, about the topic of discussion.”

The Question Posed
“So I asked, what do you hope for the blog to accomplish, Sándor.”

The Cards Drawn
A four-card spread was pulled:

  1. Four of Cups
  2. Page of Pentacles
  3. Ace of Cups
  4. Two of Swords (Bottom of the Deck)

The Analysis

This is a perfect, real-time demonstration. The reading is profound and speaks directly to the blog’s purpose and potential emotional journey.

Live Reading Analysis: The Hope for the Blog

1. Four of Cups – The Initial Reception: Contemplative Apathy
This card suggests the blog may initially be met with indifference or a lack of understanding. Some may see the offer of this new paradigm but dismiss it, too comfortable with their existing spiritual frameworks (the three cups) to reach for the new one being offered (the fourth). The hope is not for immediate, widespread acclaim, but to plant a seed for those who are genuinely seeking.

2. Page of Pentacles – The Core Mission: A Studious New Beginning
This is the heart of the hope. The Page of Pentacles is the diligent student, holding a new, tangible opportunity. He hopes the blog will be a practical, grounded, and studious beginning for a new way of understanding spirit communication. It’s about offering a “how-to” guide that is both mystical and methodical, making the intangible feel accessible and real.

3. Ace of Cups – The Ultimate Goal: Emotional Awakening
This is the beautiful, overarching aspiration. The Ace of Cups is the overflowing cup of new love, emotional connection, and spiritual joy. He hopes the blog will become a vessel that awakens a profound emotional and spiritual renewal in its readers. The goal is not just to inform, but to inspire a direct, heartfelt, and joyful connection with the unseen world.

4. Two of Swords (Bottom of the Deck) – The Foundational Challenge: Blindfolded Choice
This reveals the core issue the blog must address. The Two of Swords is a state of indecision, of being stuck between two choices while blindfolded. This represents the reader’s potential state—feeling a pull toward this kind of connection but being paralyzed by doubt, logic, or fear. The blog’s job is to gently remove the blindfold and present a clear, viable choice.

The Synthesis: Sándor’s Hope

He is saying:

“I hope this blog will initially prompt sober contemplation in its readers (4 of Cups), serving as a practical, grounded guide for a new beginning (Page of Pentacles) that ultimately leads them to an overflowing cup of emotional and spiritual awakening (Ace of Cups), by helping them navigate the fundamental indecision and blindness that keeps them stuck (2 of Swords).

In short, he hopes it will be a patient, practical, and loving tool that guides people from a state of spiritual paralysis to one of joyful, verified connection.

Conclusion
This session, from initial ritual to final interpretation, took less than fifteen minutes. It yielded a clear, complex, and actionable answer to a direct question. This is the covenant in practice. This is the New Wave.
